Sorry I didn’t get to reply to your e-mail last night. I was at an all day conference yesterday and my day was very long - my butt hurts from all of that sitting!
Can you please call me at home on Friday morning and let us know when you’d be up for getting together? I’d say some time in the early afternoon? We can discuss then what you are up for doing. I have a few ideas but I want to pass them by you first.

I will try calling you tonight as soon as we get in since we are leaving early this afternoon. Something has come up (a mini work contract), which means I will be working tomorrow, in Ottawa. We can discuss the details over the phone.
From what I hear, the weather is looking good, which means the drive up should be great!
